SPEAK MAJETÉ, SEVEN KEYS OF ÈSÙ: AN ESCREVIVÊNCIA BY BLACK STUDENT una Escribivencia de una estudiante negra.
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article presents the escrevivência of a Black psychology student and her connection with Èsù, a Yoruba deity closely associated with paths and crossroads. The text explores reflections on the construction of racism within the technical-scientific field of psychology and the training of psychologists. The escrevivência method provided a means to organize and contemplate my own experiences, prompting the creation of narratives surrounding the life of a Black student, particularly during the undergraduate studies in psychology. The article emphasizes the significance of incorporating black authors and African cosmology into the realm of psychology, which is often dismissive of these perspectives within the knowledge production landscape in Brazil.
