Abstract
O livro “ Pequeno Manual Antirracista “da filósofa, feminista, escritora Djamila Ribeiro foi lançado pela editora Companhia de Letras, em novembro de 2019, em São Paulo. Neste pequeno manual a autora objetiva 11 capítulos curtos e contundentes distribuídos em 136 páginas, além de um epílogo que vai trazer informações sobre a autora e autores/as negros/as, como Ângela Davis (2016), bell hocks (2000), Lélia Gonzalez (1988), Silvio Almeida (2019), Sueli Carneiro (2005), Abdias Nascimento (2016) e muitos outros citados neste livro.
O objetivo desta obra é apontar caminhos de reflexão antirracistas para a transformação dessa sociedade, entender as origens do racismo e o que podemos fazer para combatê-lo no nosso dia-a-dia e expor que o racismo é algo que está internalizado em todos e deve ser combatido a todo momento, já que vivemos e fomos criados em uma sociedade racista.
