ORPHIC FEELING: THE NOURISHMENT OF THE ANTHROPOPHAGIC UTOPIA
Main Article Content
Abstract
The aim of this work is to present the relationship between the concepts of orphan feeling and Anthropophagy, both developed by Oswald de Andrade. We intend to point out the first of them as a fundamental condition for the existence of the second. Throughout the text, we show the characteristics of the orphan feeling that serve as fertile ground for Anthropophagy and part of Oswaldian thinking to develop. For that, first, we make an exhibition about orphic feeling, tracing its main characteristics. Then, we included Anthropophagy in the discussion, trying to understand how the dialogue takes place between these two issues. Finally, we seek to point out the anthropophagic utopia as the great fruit of this relationship.
