SOCIO-SPATIAL TRAJECTORY OF QUILOMBOLA QUOTA STUDENTS AT THE FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TOCANTINS – ARAGUAÍNA CAMPUS
Main Article Content
Abstract
The present work aims to understand how the entry and permanence of quilombola students on the university path takes place. From this, we mapped these interlocutors as trajectories in order to understand the places until their arrival at the university. The research takes place through the analysis of institutional data and identification with these students, so that we can have an overview of how their trajectories were carried out, generating experiences from the university, understanding as affectivities with the place based on Tuan's definition (1980). We bring a cartography of the students' trajectories, tracing a plan of where they left and under what circumstances, where they traveled in their experiences to arrive, stay and leave the university. These trajectories showed us that quilombola students already face difficulties in accessing the university in the selection process, and later in their permanence.
