INSTITUTIONALIZING AFFIRMATIVE ACTIONS IN IFPA: RENNEABI AND HETEROIDENTIFICATION

Abstract

This article aims to present some affirmative action policies implemented at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pará (IFPA), as well as the importance of the NEAB's and NEABI's Network (RENNEABI) in the fight for the implementation and institutionalization of affirmative policies within the IFPA, especially the institutionalization of the heteroidentification process. The methodology used was bibliographical research on the subject, based on the research in documents such as RENNEABI’s minutes, letters issued by the public prosecutor, ordinance of the committee of works for the construction of resolutions no. 111/2020 and no. 224/2021, inter alia. The works developed in Network have strengthened NEAB's and NEABI's at the campuses and also the affirmative policies in IFPA.
