Abstract

This bibliographic research seeks to identify the importance of affirmative action developed for the black woman’s health, accomplished through an integrative literature review, which means grouping together the results of primary research on the same subject summarizing and analyzing in order to provide a comprehensive explanation of a specific phenomenon. Starting from the elaboration of guiding question "how important is to know the affirmative action developed for the black woman’s health?" there was a selection of items to be used. Results: The black woman goes through vulnerabilities associated with racism and, so that affirmative action may be accomplished it is necessary further discussion about the diversities and inequities suffered by them. Conclusion: although many believe in the absence of racism, it appears in a disguised form, coming to classify affirmative action as racist and unnecessary. Thus there is much to change society to enable it to understand the real value of equity.
