Abstract
Maria Claudia Cardoso Ferreira analyzes her academic trajectory at undergraduate at UERJ and postgraduate at UERJ and FGV. She analyzes her family background and intellectual and academic influences. It analyzes the memory of changes in historiography, the historical contexts of the late twentieth century, social movements and the role of black intellectuals.
