Abstract
Giovana Xavier da Conceição Nascimento narrates his academic trajectory in undergraduate studies at UFRJ and in graduate studies at UFF and (Unicamp). It highlights the origin and generational influences of black women in their family. She remembers her international academic experiences and the role of gender and race in the contemporary debate on power relations in the production and teaching of history.
