AIN'T I FROM THE PSI FIELD? VOICES OF JULIANO MOREIRA AND OTHER BLACK FIGURES
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article is a scope of race relations in the psi field, echoing stories and productions of some of its references that, from the end of the 19th century, and despite been turned them almost invisible, claim and produce effective changes. I highlight the work of Juliano Moreira, for being the first of that period, with exceptional contributions. I continue highlighting other figures, analyzing the dialogues, themes and places of production of their works. Retelling stories can re-signify the participation of these figures in the construction of the mental health field, and guide it towards understanding the psychological dynamics of race relations, the place of each person in this scenario, committing to the end of genocide (of bodies, expectations , memories, stories, pleasures, achievements, meanings of life), reviewing theories and practices, being open to different voices, and, thus, effectively decolonizing, resistance and libertarian actions.
