Abstract
Aparecida Sueli Carneiro est née dans la ville de São Paulo, le 24 juin 1950. Son milieu familial est d'ouvriers, elle a rapidement grandi dans un environnement familial avec des principes communautaires et sociables. Étudiant à la Faculté de philosophie de l'Université de São Paulo, ses activités politiques, le mouvement noir et les femmes noires, ont servi de base à sa formation militante. Elle est titulaire d'un doctorat en philosophie de l'Université de São Paulo (USP), ainsi que d'un philosophe, activiste du mouvement antiraciste, écrivain et l'un des principaux penseurs du féminisme noir au Brésil.
