Abstract
Aparecida Sueli Carneiro nació en la ciudad de São Paulo, el 24 de junio de 1950. Su origen familiar es de trabajadores, pronto se crió en un ambiente familiar con principios comunitarios y sociables. Estudiante de la Facultad de Filosofía de la Universidad de São Paulo, sus actividades políticas, el movimiento negro y las mujeres negras, sirvieron de base para su formación militante. Es doctora en Filosofía de la Universidad de São Paulo (USP), además de filósofa, activista del movimiento antirracista, escritora y una de las principales pensadoras del feminismo negro en Brasil.
