Abstract

This text seeks to broaden the reflections in the field of Physical Education at school and of education for ethnic-racial relations, contributing to the construction of new possibilities for learning and perception of the world based on black aesthetic-corporeal knowledge. Resuming the historical path that guided Physical Education pedagogical practices, it is understood that it was directly linked to the discrimination of the black body and its culture. The research was anchored in a narrative perspective and, inspired by the biographical project studio, autobiographical narratives were produced by a group of five black students who, from their records on school Physical Education, bring evidence of reflections on demotivation with the discipline provoked by gender and race, the whitened curriculum, the lack of identity representation, the lack of teaching attention to student culture and the possibilities of curricular and didactic changes.
